My name is Melissa and ever since I can remember I have loved to create. Creating has always been my zen. It is the place I go when I want to feel most like myself.
When I went to college I wanted to continue creating, so I studied to become an art teacher. I studied many mediums of art and became a teacher in 2020. I have been teaching art for 5 years and through my students I have become a permanent learner. I never have felt the need to quit learning new mediums, staying curious has kept me passionate about art. In 2021 I started pursing a masters in Art Leadership and Cultural Management. In this masters I have decided not only do I want to purse art as a full time job, but I also want others to explore art as well.
